Take the Cunnigham Highway from Brisbane, its about 400km south west, about a 5hr drive.

Accommodation

There’s a few accommodation spots including, a hostel, caravan park along with motels and hotels as per usual. Getting farm stay accommodation can also be a cost saver. Near major Airports are Brissy and Gold Coast, which are about 5hrs away.
